Welcome to For The Children Inc. (FTC) “A place where children come first". FTC serves children ages 3 to high school
and provides family support services for the entire community. Your child is FTC #1 priority. FTC is a not-for-profit organization
founded in September 1999 and opened its doors to the children of Palm Beach County since April 2000. After School programming
is very important for working parents. FTC provides quality and affordable educational, recreational, community and family
building activities. The Osborne School was the only Elementary School in the City of Lake Worth, Florida where minority children
could attend school during the segregation years. Today, the building serves as the Headquarter of For The Children Inc. and
the Osborne Community After School Program (OCASP) which serves a daily average of fifty (50) children from diverse ethnic
groups. FTC was founded by Ms. Reginale Durandisse and she currently serves as its CEO. Mission Statement: To provide
children with quality educational, recreational and family support services that foster positive physical, social, emotional,
cognitive growth and development.
The Vision of For The Children Inc. includes
transition to broader service, broader use of technology, and networking with a variety of schools, community agencies, education,
personal development, improved job and economic opportunities. With these new linkages and collaborations, FTC will become
an interconnected, networked community model to be duplicated with adaptations in other parts of the city, county, country
and globally.
